Ted Cruz, and in recent years has also become a significant hub for technology, investment, and trade ties with Israel. One possibility under consideration is for Netanyahu not to stay overnight in New York at all, but merely to travel there to address the General Assembly. The prime minister could instead spend his only night in the US in Texas or another destination that has yet to be determined.rime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (R) greets US Senator Ted Cruz (L) after speaking to a joint meeting of Congress at the US Capitol on July 24, 2024, in Washington, DC.
