Mystery as woman, 79, and man, 78, found dead inside house

COPS have launched an investigation after two pensioners were tragically found dead inside a home. Officers discovered a woman, 79, and a man, 78, at the house in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Saturday afternoon. They rushed to the property on Grange Park Avenue at around 3.35pm following welfare concerns for the pair. But detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection with their probe, the force said. A statement read: “Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing… “Although officers do not believe that there is any third-party involvement.” Detective Inspector Robert Lees added: “We understand the concern this incident will have likely caused in the local community. “I would like to reassure residents that a thorough investigation is being carried out. “We are not looking for anyone else in relation to this matter.
