I’VE never been a fan of working out while listening to music. Not because I don’t think having the Rocky theme tune blasting out while I’m pounding the streets or trying to complete that third set of press-ups won’t drive me on to greater things. And I can safely say that no matter how slippery my ears got or how hard I rattled my head, they did not budge – thankfully they are sweatproof otherwise I could have been in big trouble. Part of their refusal to move is also due to the four different ear tip sizes, meaning you are guaranteed a snug fit. Like many brilliant designs, their beauty is often in their simplicity. The buttons can be personlised for different functions including hooking up to Siri, and the battery can last up to 30 hours with the case, or seven hours with a single charge – plenty for even the most demanding workout. And after falling in love with these, the last thing I wanted to do was lose them (mine are in funky orange so they’re easy to spot, although there’s a choice of four colours if you want something more sedate). Thankfully once you hook up to Beats app (if you’re on Android) or they are connected to the Find My for Apple users, you can trace where your phone was last connected to them with a map. At £199.99 a pair, you certainly wouldn’t want to lose them. But if you’re like me, you won’t take them out of your ears long enough to misplace them anyway. Comment now
