Musk laughs off election drubbing with space lasers joke

Elon Musk took a light-hearted approach following a significant setback in the midterm elections, where the Republican candidates he heavily funded suffered major losses. His $445 million investment made him the biggest individual donor in recent history, yet Texas saw a massive shift towards the Democrats. Musk's quip about "space lasers" suggests his frustration, but also his characteristic humor in the face of adversity. This underscores the immense influence—and potential pitfalls—of such substantial political spending.
