Mt. Kanlaon erupts, sends ash plume above summit

BACOLOD CITY— Mt. Kanlaon on Negros Island produced a moderately explosive eruption on Saturday, Oct. 10, sending an ash plume above its summit, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
