With the performers almost completely hidden inside the bulky costumes, their energetic movements made them hard to ignore.The gorillas appeared to become something of a centrepiece at the celebrations, with party-goers dancing alongside them and seemingly enjoying the absurdity of having giant apes suddenly join the festivities.
