More on phone call between Iranian foreign minister Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart

During a phone call between Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan, he insisted that a military approach in Yemen will complicate the situation in the region. According to Iranian state media, Araghchi had also indicated Iran's readiness in helping start dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The Iranian minister expressed concern over escalating tensions, and insisted that a "military approach and ignoring a political solution will further complicate the current situation". He also further stressed that crisis in the region "have no military solution", adding that Tehran is "ready to provide any assistance to help start dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and to help achieve a political solution".
