Monsieur Periné Announce Split Weeks After Latest Latin Grammy Nomination: “We Need This Space”

Monsieur Periné have announced that they are going on an indefinite hiatus after nearly two decades together. The Colombian band shared the news with fans on Monday, saying the decision was perhaps “the most difficult” they have ever had to make. An individual space that we believe will be good for us and that, hopefully, will allow us to find each other again in the future from a different place, in a different mood.” Monsieur Periné will complete the seven remaining dates on their “Instrucciones Para Ser Feliz Tour“, which the band’s representatives have confirmed will be their final performances before the hiatus. The run includes upcoming stops in Orlando, Miami, Mexico City, Bogotá, Caracas, Ibagué, and Puerto Rico following a September 29th show in New Orleans.
