It is understood an 83-year-old man died after a Ukrainian drone hit a private home in the Moscow region. Russia’s Ministry of Defence said the country was under siege from a total of 822 Ukrainian drones. It comes just hours after Moscow sent a wave of retaliatory missile and drone strikes on Kyiv after Ukraine bombed a Russian Space Centre on Saturday. The facility produces Soyuz-2 launch vehicles used to project Rassvet satellites, which Moscow hopes will replace Starlink systems after its troops were cut off earlier this year. In recent months, Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russian military industries, energy facilities and commercial logistics. They hope to bring the impact of the war directly to the Russian public.
