Or at least that’s the lesson we’ve learned after watching a video of a TVhost kicking a drone into the face of a nearby model. The painful incident happened earlier this week during an episode of the Mexican variety programme, the Es Show. In the clip, host Ernesto Chavana, 58, could be seen excitedly talking to the studio audience before he booted a low-flying drone across the studio. Unfortunately, the drone then flew across the studio, propellers still spinning, and hit cast member Isabella Rojas in the face. Isabella was then taken off stage in tears by the production team while Ernesto continued to present the show. Later, Isabella returned to the set where Ernesto apologised, saying: ‘I’m very sorry. I take responsibility for what just happened.’ In a video on Isabella’s Instagram, she could be seen showing her cut lip to Ernesto. The post was captioned: ‘Chavana will be held responsible for what happened.’ No further details have been released by the production team about what action will be taken against Ernesto. The clip, which has been shared far and wide on social media, has provoked outrage online. Ernesto has apologised for the incident (Picture: Es Show) ‘I don’t know who he is, but what a disgusting person, he shouldn’t be the host of a show; he should pay for the moral and physical damages,’ wrote MJB on X. ‘The blades could have gouged out one of the model’s eyes,’ claimed @Javier_H_F.’ Not to mention leaving a scar on her face that’s part of her stock-in-trade… Talk about idiotic.’ On Instagram, most people shared in the outrage, but Diego Tavares defended Ernesto.
