Missing former Premier League star releases worrying statement after sparking police search

FORMER Premier League footballer Akos Buzsaky has broken his silence, ten days after going missing. The Hungarian posted an interesting statement on his Facebook, reassuring friends and family that he is okay. And having evidently been found, the 44-year-old took to Facebook to release a statement. Sign up for the Football newsletter Thank you! He wrote: “Dear friends, acquaintances! Unfortunately, serious changes have occurred in my life in the past few months, which is testing me. “The waves crashed over my head, and the point came when I felt that I had to tear myself away from these everyday things. “Due to a misunderstanding, my worried mother reported it to the police. Thank you very much for worrying and thinking about me so much. “As soon as I learned about the situation, I interrupted my retreat, we notified the authorities. “I wish everyone a very nice day, and the love I received was very nice!” It comes after multiple of Buzsaky’s former clubs also put out statements, while he was missing. Most read in Sport QPR posted: “The club are concerned to learn that R’s favourite Akos Buzsaky has been reported missing. “We’re all praying he’s found safe and well.” Plymouth echoed those sentiments by saying: “We are concerned to hear that Ákos Buzsáky has been reported missing. “Everybody at Plymouth Argyle is hoping that Ákos is found safe soon.” The 44-year-old starred for QPR in the English top flight in the 2011/12 season, scoring two goals. He also played for Plymouth in the Championship before ending his career in English football at Portsmouth and a loan to Barnsley in 2013. Comment now
