Missing 15-year-old school student found dead in Kasaragod lodge

A 15-year-old school student who had gone missing from the Kodungallur police station limits in Thrissur district was found dead in a lodge near the KSRTC bus depot in Kasaragod on Thursday evening (October 15).The deceased was a student of a school at Vemballur in Thrissur district. The Kasaragod Town police registered a case of unnatural death and launched an investigation.The teenager had reportedly left home for a tuition centre at Kodungallur on Wednesday (October 14) evening. However, he neither reached the tuition centre nor returned home that day, prompting his family to approach the police. A missing person case was registered, and an investigation was launched.The police found that he had travelled to Kasaragod. He was found dead in a lodge room on Thursday.
