MIM, MBT demand action against youth assault

Political parties condemned the alleged attack on two youths working at a construction site in Shamshabad on Wednesday, reached Osmania General Hospital (OGH) where they were being treated, and demanded action against those responsible.The victims, identified as Hyder Khan and Waheed Khan, were allegedly assaulted on Wednesday and were subsequently taken for treatment.Majlis Bachao Tehreek spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan reached OGH and interacted with the victims. He sought immediate medical attention for the two men, alleged police inaction, and called for corrective measures to ensure action against those responsible for the assault.AIMIM Member of Legislative Council Riyaz ul Hasan Effendi also visited the hospital along with former Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen corporator Hussaini Pasha. While Mr Effendi spoke to the police, Mr Pasha said the victims belonged to the Bahadurpura Assembly constituency and demanded action against those responsible for the attack.The AIMIM demanded an impartial investigation into the incident and called for action against those who assaulted the two men. The party also sought accountability in the handling of the case.However, soon after Mr Amjed Ullah Khan and Mr Pasha reached OGH, a heated verbal exchange ensued between them.
