FREEVIEW customers can expect a bunch of classic TV shows to hit screens in an impressive upgrade. Since launching on Sky in May 2024 and coming to Freeview later that year, fans have been enjoying some of their old classics on Rewind TV. Time Gentlemen Please, Grumpy Old Men, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and Doctor at Sea will all be coming to the channel in early September. Time Gentlemen Please starts September 3 at 9:30pm and will be the first time it has been on TV screens in years. Grumpy Old Men starts September 6 at 9:30pm and originally ran on the BBC from 2003 to 2006. Harry Hill’s TV Burp starts September 7 at 7 pm and the classic comedy video clip show will have each episode repeated the following day at 1pm. Doctor at Sea starts September 11 at 10am and 8pm, continues Rewind TV’s run through the Doctor franchise. Earlier this year in June, the channel came to Freesat, meaning it now reaches every major over-the-air free TV platform in the country. Most read in Tech Co-founder Jonathan Moore praised the shows coming to the channel and said it would be great for fans who miss the TV of yesteryear. He said: “Bringing back programmes viewers simply haven’t had the chance to enjoy for years is what Rewind TV is all about. “We’re especially delighted to welcome Harry Hill’s TV Burp back to UK television after more than a decade, alongside much-loved favourites including Time Gentlemen Please, Grumpy Old Men and Doctor at Sea.” Comment now
