Here are the details you need to know. In Power Rangers lore, the Rangers are empowered by the Morphin Grid - a living energy field present throughout the multiverse that empowers their transformations, weapons, Zords and more. Traditionally, Power Rangers use Morphers to harness the power of the Morphin Grid, granting them specific suits and upgrades as mediated by mentors like Zordon and the Morphin Masters. But what happens when that connection to the Morphin Grid isn't given to carefully chosen warriors, but random people whose access isn't safely controlled? Power Rangers Introduces 'Wild Morphs' In new solicit information for BOOM! Studios' Power Rangers: Green, it's revealed that Tommy Oliver will encounter powerful new warriors named 'Wild Morphs.' These individuals have the natural power to access and be transformed by the Morphin Grid, turning the former Command Center into their home and base. Power Rangers: Green takes place in a distant future to the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers lore, seeing Tommy Oliver become 'The Last Ranger' in a world characterized by magic and mysticism. Now, that magic will seemingly combine with the Morphin Grid with the introduction of the 'Wild Morphs.' Power Rangers: Green #4 Release Date: November 18, 2026 Writer: Pallie Paul Allor Artists: Gustaffo Vargas Cover Artist: Tony Harris After all these years, the Green Power Ranger has returned to the Command Center! Tommy, Mirella, Goldar, and Alpha must travel to what was once the Command Center in order to defeat the Red Censer and The Unmade! But this special Morphin Grid node has become home to the Wild Morphs, people whose powerful natural connection to the Grid makes them unique from others. People who are just like Mirella. Can Tommy face the possibility of Mirella choosing a different path once she’s come face-to-face with people like herself for the very first time? Find out in this heartfelt new issue! Having retired from his role as the Green Ranger long ago, Tommy has been pulled back into the adventurer life by the machinations of the Unmade - the daughter of the villainous Scorpina. The Unmade is waging war against all forms of magic, leading Tommy to ally with Goldar and Alpha-5 in an attempt to fight back. Lacking his former powers and equipment, Tommy has been struggling against the Unmade and her mechanized monstrosity the Red Censer, which is laying waste to the planet and its inhabitants. Now, the Wild Morphs may have a hidden weapon Tommy can use to save the world. However, going to them for help may cost more than he can bear... Power Rangers' Mirella Is a Wild Morph Power Rangers: Green has introduced Mirella - the "downcycle progeny" of Tommy Oliver. The exact meaning of that phrase isn't yet known, but it's clear that at least in emotional terms, Mirella is Tommy's daughter. However, it's now revealed Mirella is also a Wild Morph - someone with a unique, unconstrained connection to the Morphin Grid and the immense power it can grant. So far, Tommy has been able to keep Mirella relatively safe, but will that continue once she knows more about her inherent power? What Will Wild Morphs Actually Be Able To Do? So far, Power Rangers: Green hasn't explained much about Wild Morphs other than how they connect to the Morphin Grid. The big question is what they'll be able to do. The most likely explanation is that they will be a new type of Ranger without a patron, drawing strength and transformative power from the Grid without the mediation of Morphers. However, on a planet where magic and mythology are widespread, will these Wild Morphs even be human? Will their connection and communal Morphin Grid node allow them to share power, or does the adjective 'Wild' imply unchecked, inconsistent powers and appearance defined by the individual? The answer will come as Power Rangers: Green introduces its new guerrilla warrior Wild Morphs. Power Rangers: Green #4 is coming November 18.
