Melania Trump Dismisses Media as “Noise” in Trailer for ‘Melania’ Doc Follow-Up

Melania Trump isn’t especially impressed by her media coverage in the trailer for Melania, the two-part docuseries from Prime Video about the first lady that dropped on Friday ahead of a Nov. 20 premiere. “The media, they want gossip. For me, it’s noise,” Melania Trump says in the teaser for the two-parter follow-up to the Melania documentary released earlier this year, made from bonus footage shot by director Brett Ratner as his cameras followed her in the days after President Donald Trump‘s second inauguration. Of course, Melania Trump got more serious press coverage after she recently brokered a local and six-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the occupied city of Oleshky. But the docuseries will focus on Melania Trump as a wife and mother, especially to son Barron Trump, who she insists in the trailer is her priority. “The honor of serving as first lady comes with an immediate call to action. Moments after the inauguration, first lady Melania Trump sets her mission in motion for the American people,” a synopsis from the producers states about the second episode, entitled Pride & Honor. Prime Video will stream Melania worldwide after the earlier theatrical release of Melania, the movie, which grossed around $16.6 million at the box office. Amazon’s $75 million deal for Melania included two additional episodes of bonus footage not included in the theatrical documentary that also streamed on Prime Video. Melania the follow-up docuseries was produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Muse Films, New Element Media and RatPac Entertainment. Melania Trump and Marc Beckman executive produce the docuseries directed by Brett Ratner, who also produces along with Fernando Sulichin.
