McDonald’s has just confirmed that four more items from around the world are joining the UK menu this month. There’s a nice mix of sweet and savoury, but one item in particular is bound to cause a real stir among Maccies fans. That’s because, for the first time, the fast food chain is going to sell chicken wings. McDonald’s is finally going to put chicken wings on the menu (Picture: McDonald’s) What are the four new World Heist items? McDonald’s is bringing Chicken McWings from China to the UK, which are described as being ‘succulent’ with a ‘crisp bite’. The wings will be available as a three-piece side (£3.49), a five-piece main meal (£5.49), or as a 10-piece sharing option (£8.99). The sharebox will only be available to order via the McDonald’s app. Joining the chicken wings in the latest drop is the McExtreme (£8.99 or £11.09 for a medium meal) from Spain, a big burger with two beef patties, bacon, crispy onions, cheese slices, and a creamy baconnaise sauce. This is served in a toasted, glazed sesame bun and McDonald’s claims it’s ‘big on beef and big on flavour’. For dessert, there’s a new Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry from Germany (£1.99 for a mini and £2.69 for a regular), which features soft dairy ice cream, Twirl White Salted Caramel mix, and a salted caramel sauce. And finally, there’s yet another Sprite Zero drink; this time it’s peach flavour. Peach x Sprite Zero from Singapore will cost £2.39 and features Sprite Zero mixed with a peach-flavoured syrup and served over ice. There’s a new drink and dessert too (Picture: McDonald’s) When do they launch at McDonald’s UK? The four new items will officially join the menu on Tuesday, October 20. They’ll be available alongside existing World Heist 2.0 products, including the Chicken & Egg McMuffin, the Chicken & Bacon McMuffin, Paprika McShaker Fries, Mac & Cheese Triangles, the S’mores McFlurry, and Szechuan Sauce. There is a catch, though: as these new items are ushered in, some of the others must leave the menu. McDonald’s has confirmed that the Big Rösti, Maple & Cheddar Chicken, and Guava x Sprite Zero will soon be axed, so enjoy them while you can. This comes after the chain recently brought back a fan-favourite from the 00s – the Snack Wrap. The wrap was a staple on the fast food chain’s UK menu between 2006 and 2016. It contained one Chicken Select, lettuce, cheese, and cool mayo inside a flour tortilla. For 2026, it’s a little different, though, as fans will notice it no longer contains cheese and now comes with a black pepper mayo.
