Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out for low-key NYC outing

Seeing double. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted on a rare joint outing in New York City on Tuesday. In photos obtained by Page Six, the twins dressed casually, with Mary-Kate wearing baggy, knee-length black shorts paired with a white T-shirt, a black scarf, black shades and vintage sneakers from a Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas 2002 collaboration. She wore her dirty blond hair in waves and carried an oversized brown snakeskin bag. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted in New York City on Tuesday in a rare outing. She also wore her hair down and completed her look with black sunglasses and a black Margaux bag from their luxury fashion brand, The Row. The last time the 40-year-old sisters broke cover was for their older brother Trent’s wedding in June. They posed for snaps with their entire family, including Ashley’s husband, artist Louis Eisner, and their younger sister, Elizabeth, with her husband, Robbie Arnett. Their half-siblings, Courtney and Jake, were also included in the group snap. Ashley wore an all-black ensemble for the outing. Ulices Ramales and Fernando Ramales / BACKGRID Following their 2004 hit movie “New York Minute,” Mary-Kate and Ashley began retreating from the limelight. Since then, they have led a much quieter life and created The Row. In August 2023, it was reported that Ashley and her husband, Louis Eisner, had secretly welcomed a son a year after tying the knot. As for Mary-Kate, she finalized her divorce from Olivier Sarkozy in January 2021 after five years of marriage. Both Mary-Kate and Ashley have lived much quieter lives since creating The Row and quitting acting. Despite leaving their acting days behind them, their former “Full House” co-star Jodie Sweetin said she is still friendly with the sisters, who didn’t return to the show’s 2016 spin-off “Fuller House” like the rest of the cast. “Everyone’s on good terms with them, but they were 8 years old when this show stopped,” Sweetin said in July. “Then they did all of those movies and all that stuff that I don’t know that they really loved doing all the time.” Sweetin praised Mary-Kate and Ashley for embracing their love of fashion and said they disappeared from the spotlight because acting was “not their thing.” Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community!
