Marcos Jr. remembers late father, namesake on his birthday

Marcos Sr. would be 109 years old if he were alive today, having been born on Sept. 11, 1917. Marcos Jr. said his father taught him to value duty, honor, and country. “To live for others and not oneself. Happy Birthday Dad,” he said. Marcos Jr. has declared Sept. 11 a special non-working holiday in Ilocos Norte to commemorate the 109th birth anniversary of his late father and namesake, former President Ferdinand E.
