Man Utd unveil never-before-seen addition on BACK of jersey for first pre-season game vs Wrexham

Manchester United will debut a new addition to their kit during their pre-season friendly against Wrexham. The fixture, which kicks off at 4pm UK time, is the opening fixture of the 2026/27 pre-season schedule being played at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Finland. The deal has been made as part of United’s partnership with Snapdragon. However, it will appear on women’s and selected academy shirts throughout the season. Marc Armstrong, Chief Business Officer, Manchester United, said: “Our partnership with Snapdragon continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re delighted to bring one of the world’s most recognisable technology brands to the back of our famous shirts during the 2026/27 season. “This exciting collaboration with Snapdragon and Microsoft Surface reflects Manchester United’s enduring global appeal and our ability to attract leading brands looking to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.” The club’s sponsorship deal with Qualcomm – which features Snapdragon – is worth just over £60 million a year and runs through 2029. United will travel around Scandanavia to Norway and Sweden as they continue their preseason against Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid respectively. They finish the tour with back-to-back European champions PSG in Sweden.
