Man shot in Hamilton Hill as police hunt for two suspects

September 13, 2026 — 10:03amResidents of Hamilton Hill are in lockdown after a man was shot on Sunday morning.Police are on the hunt for two males who are believed to be involved in the shooting.Hamilton Hill residents are on lockdown as police hunt for two men suspected to be involved in a shooting on Sunday morning.WAtodayAt about 4:35am police received a report that a man had been shot at a residence on Owen Place in Hamilton Hill.Police and St John WA responded and provided emergency first aid to the victim.The man has been conveyed by St John WA to hospital with serious injuries.“Police believe two males, dressed in all black clothing, were involved in the shooting,” a WA Police spokesperson said.“Significant police resources have been deployed and are conducting a thorough search of the area.“Members of the public are asked to stay away from the area. Those in the area are advised to lock their doors and windows and remain inside.”Anyone who sights the two males or sees any suspicious behaviour is urged to not approach the men, and to call police via Triple Zero immediately.More to come.From our partners
