A man faces two charges of driving with excess breath alcohol causing death, following a double-fatality crash in Rotorua last month.Emergency services were called to the crash between a car and a motorbike at the intersection of Te Ngae Road and Rotokawa Road on 14 August. The rider and passenger on the motorbike died.Senior Sergeant John Stapleford said in a statement to RNZ on Tuesday that the investigation was ongoing, but a 72-year-old man had been charged with two charges of driving with excess breath alcohol causing death.The man is due to appear in the Rotorua District Court on Thursday.
