Man argues with unemployed brother, asks him to start business, then hacks him

A man in Gujarat's Dang district killed his unemployed elder brother following a heated argument after he advised the latter to start a business, police said.The incident took place on Tuesday night when Ranjeet Pawar, the 26-year-old accused, was having dinner with his brother Ranjeet, 28.According to police, Ranjeet, who works as a labourer and supports his family, advised Gajendra to start a business.What began as a discussion soon escalated into a heated argument and then a physical altercation, police said. Ranjeet picked up the axe lying nearby and attacked Gajendra, who suffered severe injuries leading to his death on the spot.After being informed about the incident, a police team reached the residence and arrested Ranjeet. Police are now examining whether the brothers had any previous dispute and are recording statements of witnesses to establish what exactly happened during the altercation.- Ends
