Man, 50, is arrested after ‘attempted sexual assault’ at Home Bargains store in city centre

A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged attempted sexual assault at a Home Bargains store. The 50-year-old was identified by cops after CCTV images were released as part of an appeal to find the accused fiend. The incident was reported at the shop in Wakefield between 12.50pm and 1.10pm on September 3. Cops launched an investigation and asked the public to help identify the man pictured in CCTV footage. The man remains in police custody while enquiries continue. Cops have also confirmed they are no longer appealing for the public’s help in identifying him.
