A PENSIONNER has been left fighting for his life after he was allegedly shoved from a stage while a band was playing. Emergency services were called to The Crow’s Nest in Cwbran, South Wales, at around 10.25pm on August 1. A pensionner has been left fighting for his life after he was allegedly shoved from a stage Credit: WNS The 102-year-old, who was a regular at the local pub, suffered critical injuries after tumbling backwards and hitting the floor. Onlookers said the centenarian wandered onto the stage where Llanelli-based band SuperHans were playing when he was knocked over. One witness said: “My understanding from the police and staff at the time was that the 102-year-old, who lived independently and was a regular at the pub, went onto the stage, which was up three steps, to ask for the music to be turned down. “He was pushed, causing him to fall down the three steps and broke his hip. “At 102, this will cause life-changing, if not life-shortening, injuries.”
