Evangel Christian Academy (La.) lost its season-opener on Friday night, falling 42-32 at home to West Monroe. The Eagles are 0-1, but they remain must-watch because of their star senior quarterback, Peyton “Pop” Houston. In a losing effort, the four-star prospect compiled 503 yards of total offense and five touchdowns. Houston threw 28 completions and racked up 372 yards through the air.
