Lorcana Curator's Collection: Heroines Edition Is Being Resold For More Than $1,000

Limited Lorcana Set That Shut Down A Disney Store Is Being Scalped For Up To $1,400 Published Jul 19, 2026, 8:58 AM EDT George is the Lead News Editor for TheGamer, and has been working in the industry since 2021 after graduating from the University of South Wales with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. He has also previously written for RPG Site, WhatCulture, and PlayStation Lifestyle. George is an expert on platformers, action games, and fighters, but tends to play as many releases as possible. This hands-on experience lets him dive into gaming communities and follow the latest trends. Some of the games George has extensively covered first-hand include Dead Rising, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Ninja Gaiden 4. Disney Lorcana’s new Curator’s Collection: Heroines Edition is continuing to be a bit of a disaster for players, as the rare set is already being scalped for up to $1,400. Last month, Ravensburger announced a new set for Disney Lorcana that contains exclusive foil cards for several Disney heroines, including Elsa, Ariel, Tinker Bell, and more. That $99.99 collection was said to have very limited quantities and only get sold in seven locations around the world, setting it up to be quite the collector’s item. As we reported earlier in the week, Friday’s launch didn’t exactly go down well, as massive queues and rowdy scalpers resulted in the London Disney Store closing down. The launch didn’t go as badly elsewhere, but the new Curator’s Collection is clearly still a dream for scalpers, as it’s going for massive prices on eBay. If You Want Lorcana’s New Curator’s Collection, Get Ready To Pay At Least $400 That’s A Lowball, As There Are Much Higher Prices Since Friday’s chaotic launch, a ton of listings for Lorcana’s new Curator’s Collection have popped up on eBay, suggesting that scalpers and resellers did manage to get their hands on it. That, or people who actually wanted the set in the first place have seen the high prices that it’s now commanding. A quick look at the listings shows that the Curator’s Collection is going for a minimum of over $400, three times the original asking price. Those are just the lowest listings, though, as many stretch over into $500, $600, and even up to $900. The highest asking price I can see on eBay is a ridiculous $1,400, although I’m glad to say no one is watching it. I'd love to say that this is one of those cases where incredibly high asking prices are going to get ignored, but many of the listings that I looked through on eBay have already got people watching them with an intent to buy. I can't imagine anyone paying more than a grand for the collection, but $400 won't surprise me one bit. While this set was always going to end up fetching some high prices since it’s a collector’s item, it does say a lot about the state of both TCGs and limited Disney releases. This is sadly becoming a pretty common occurrence for both, and all of these listings suggest that Ravensburger and Disney haven’t had much luck keeping the scalpers in check.
