JANET Street-Porter has revealed she once starred in a porn film in a hilarious admission. Before the Loose Women star, 79, became a household name, she says she would pick up film roles to make extra money – including an X-rated Italian flick. She told the crowd: “In 1966, I’d done my first year at college. It was a nightmare because I didn’t have much of a grant. I can’t really tell you what happened because I took my glasses off,” she jested. Continuing to explain the cameo, Janet said: “My role was receptionist. It wasn’t very demanding. I had a white nylon mini overall and white tights. I had to mince around with a clipboard. The leading lady had a turban on. I had no vision!” Alongside her unexpected movie admission, Janet shared hilarious anecdotes, stories and jokes during her live show – which took place at The Other Place theatre in London.
