London weather: Capital set for ten days of glorious sunshine as September temperatures rise

London could be set for one final spell of warm sunshine in 2026, with forecasters predicting ten straight days in the capital starting this weekend.According to BBC Weather, the city will see warm conditions every day between Sunday September 20 and Tuesday September 29 - with temperatures of 22C and higher each day.The conditions will be created by a high-pressure ridge centred over the South, bringing consistent heat to the capital after a more wet period in recent weeks.Before the weekend’s warm weather, the remainder of this week will continue to bring a mix of sun and showers.Thursday is set to see early cloud and rain, before it turns dry with sunny spells and just a few patches of cloud.Friday looks to see sunshine to start, before clouds move in from the west, possibly yielding a few spots of rain in places.
