Logic1000 – “The Only One” (Feat. Christine And The Queens)

Dance DJ and producer Logic1000 has been around for a while, and she's about to release her new collab-heavy album Confirmation! We've already posted the singles "All In For You," with KUČKA, and "Jersey," with Jam City. But the most famous of the LP's guests is probably Rahim, the French art-pop artist who records as Christine And The Queens. Today, we get to hear what happens when the two of them get together. Way back in 2020, Logic1000 remixed the title track from Christine And The Queens' EP La Vita Nuova, and Rahim's voice made perfect sense with Logic1000's production. "The Only One," their first proper collaboration, is an airy synthpop jam with a great vocal performance at its center. Here's what Logic1000 says about it:From the early sketches of "The Only One," we knew Rahim would be the perfect voice for this song. He embraced the track and put so much love into it. The turnaround was extraordinarily quick too. We didn’t know which direction he would take with the lyrics, but once we got the draft it confirmed our suspicions that he was the perfect man for the song. Honestly, he is a generational talent, which you can also see in the music video for the track.And here's what Christine And The Queens:It was a true honor and inspiration for me to work with Logic1000. I immediately jumped on my mic and felt this urge to sing to the younger generations, the one who will have to take over the sorry burning world our elders legated them.
