So far, they’ve shared ‘Ten Over Ten‘ as the lead single ahead of the record. Now, Royal Blood have unleashed ‘Swallow The Bomb’, which they’ve teased during live performances including their raucous Reading surprise slot this year. The video features clips of the band playing ‘Swallow The Bomb’ while on tour this summer. On a raging instrumental, Royal Blood persevere through suffering, with vocalist Mike Kerr declaring: “Take a taste / Kill the sorrow / Those better days better come / Don’t go to waste / Fuck tomorrow / So long the days of just because”. It’s pretty brutal. There’s not really any breathing room. Every song on the record, we were imagining playing live and making sure that when we play them live together, they felt good. “I think, ultimately, that’s why we’re in a band: playing live,” he added. “That’s the pay-off for us.”
