His rap sheet includes blackmailing Beth Tinker to flee the street for good just to protect his counterfeit T-shirts side-hustle, pretend to be mates will fellow plod PC Craig Tinker just to get dirt on him, andplanting evidence that got Bethany’s abuser Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) arrested. More recently, his plan to tamper with evidence to get his girlfriend Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) off the hook for Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) murder went spectacularly pair shaped after she was arrested and sent to prison, where she dumped him to protect his career. As his family prepare to get tested for cancer, the weight of his diagnosis continues to weigh heavy on Kit, and in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, viewers will see the secret start to affect his job. At the station, Kit loses his rag with a suspect and Lisa is forced to intervene. Ordering him in uncertain terms to take the day off, Lisa warns that Kit could lose his job if he doesn’t sort himself out.
