The Linux Mint project today published their August 2026 development report, including some new applications added to their XApp collection. Xepub has been added to Linux Mint's XApp collection as a new EPUB reader. The intent with Xepub is on making it a similar experience to what one would find on the likes of the Amazon Kindle. Linux Mint developers have also developed Clockenstein as a new calendar application. Aside from the new Clockenstein and Xepub apps, Linux Mint has continued enhancing their other XApp applications.
