Linux 7.3 Adding Logitech G502 X Lightspeed USB Support, ELECOM M-XT4DRBK

Sent out today was a new HID subsystem pull request of fixes for the week to the Linux 7.3 kernel. Besides some conventional bug fixes are also supporting some additional devices via quirks and new IDs. The Linux 7.3 HID pull brings some device driver additions worth calling out and will be merged in time for the Linux 7.3-rc5 kernel release due out next Sunday. First up is the Logitech HID++ driver adding support for the G502 X Lightspeed USB mouse. The G502 X Lightspeed USB mouse needed new IDs present for when this mouse is connected over USB rather than wireless. Straight-forward change to get the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed USB mouse working via USB on Linux with all the HID++ driver functionality for that ~$130 USD mouse. The Elecom HID driver added support for the ELECOM M-XT4DRBK (018E). This device is the 2025 left-handed version of the EX-G wireless trackball (M-XT4DRBK-G). A few adjustments to the driver were needed to get this mouse working nicely under Linux. The SteelSeries HID driver meanwhile added support for the Arctis 7 (2018) headset. The headset now can report connection and battery status with the new kernel support. The HID pull also has a fix for the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (2025) GZ302EA laptop to address broken touchpad palm detection. A quirk is also added for the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 laptop keyboard.
