CUSTOMERS have just days left to claim their loyalty points before a UK restaurant chain closes for good. All 195 locations of the chain are set to shut by September 10, so diners have to move quickly. After claiming the points they will then need to turn those points into vouchers. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Guests will only have one week to use their vouchers, as the restaurant won’t be accepting them after August 31. The Beefeater Grill Reward Club allowed visitors to collect points every time they bought food and drink in order to get discounts and exclusive offers. Customers could collect five points per every £1 spent at Beefeater, with 500 points nabbing them freebies. Food vouchers worth £5 plus free starters, desserts and bottles of wine are up for grabs with racked up points. Restaurant Beefeater confirmed in April that all of its restaurants would close in the coming months. Parent company Whitbread made this decision alongside the move to close all of its Brewers Fayre sites with 89 set for closure on September 7.
