CEO Lachlan Murdoch saw his fiscal 2026 compensation package dip to $31 million, as the executive attempts to steer his company into the future through its $22 billion Roku deal. Fox on Thursday released its fiscal 2026 proxy filing, disclosing a pay package of $31 million for Murdoch, down from $33 million a year ago. His $3 million salary and $2.75 million in option awards remained the same, but his $8.7 million in stock awards was down from last year, even as his non-equity incentive plan comp rose slightly. Fox’s president and COO John Nallen saw his compensation package rise from $15.3 million last year to $18.1 million this year, while CFO Steve Tomsic’s pay was just about flat, dipping to $10.1 million from $10.3 million. Murdoch also inked a new contract extension with Fox earlier this summer, with an increase in bonus and equity compensation targets. Tomsic also inked a contract extension. Murdoch, of course, controls Fox through a family trust after buying out his siblings last year, ending a legal battle that had spilled into public view. After his father Rupert chose him to take over the family empire, James and Elisabeth Murdoch and Prudence MacLeod had fought the changes in a Nevada court.
