Nagarjuna Akkineni in ‘King100’ | Photo Credit: Annapurna Studios Nagarjuna Akkineni’s 100th film has been titled King100, the makers announced on Saturday (August 29, 2026) with a first glimpse video that was unveiled on the Telugu superstar’s birthday. Written and directed by R.A. Karthik, the film features music by Devi Sri Prasad.The first glimpse video features stylised visuals of Nagarjuna over pumped up background score and some action-heavy scenes. His voice over explains that there are two types of people in the world: those who have money and those who don’t. “When I had no money, they called me a loser. When I had money, they called me a King. But this identity is more powerful than money,” he says while saving a crying infant from fire.The film features cinematography by Raja Mahadhevan, production design by Sathees Kumar N, and editing by Navin Nooli. Its costumes are designed by Poorva, Rajini, Tanya and Bhramma while the action choreography is done by Venkat, Prithivi, Nabakanth, Real Sathish and Dinesh Kasi.King100 will be released in theatres on December 24 this year.Nagarjuna was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, which was headlined by superstar Rajinikanth.
