Another local resident said activity in the city was “practically at pre-war levels.” “Essentially, the city has returned to pre-war times. Many people are walking in the streets, and cars and public transport have reappeared. Everyone is rushing around, trying to remove their belongings from apartments,” he said. Businessman Oleksandr Vlasov said that, for a few days, life had returned even to streets where people had previously been unable to venture outside because of the activity of fiber-optic drones. “As I know, enemy drones, even reconnaissance drones, are indeed no longer crossing the Dnipro River. Explosions can be heard in the city, but those are mines or unexploded ordnance being detonated,” he said. Meanwhile, social media users are posting numerous images and videos of cars trying to enter Kherson. People who once evacuated the city in a hurry now want to check on their homes.
