Keralam to fully support Parvathy Puthanar renovation

Satheesan has said. Replying to a submission in the Assembly on Friday, he highlighted the waterway’s potential to integrate with other major lakes and rivers in the State as part of Mission Samudra.The work on the renovation of Chilakoor Tunnel in Varkala and Sivagiri Tunnel has been completed as part of the Akkulam-Chettuva Waterway project. Further, the beautification work along the banks of the river would be carried out in a time-bound manner, while the work on the remaining stretch, including the rehabilitation of the families along the bank of the river, would also be continued, the Chief Minister assured.
