She said: “I couldn’t see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person.” Her style team supported her through it all, and helped her figure out what she could wear to make sure she didn’t detract attention from her dad’s legacy. She said: “I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were.” Most read in TV But Kelly admits she was “scared” to attend, and while she wanted to support her mum and pay tribute to her dad, with hindsight she now thinks she shouldn’t have attended as she “wasn’t very well.” Kelly now plans to document her grief and recovery in a three-part series about bereavement.
