Kashmiri man claims Congress workers thrashed him for raising Modi slogans in Delhi

A Kashmiri man has accused Congress supporters of assaulting him in Delhi’s Connaught Place after he raised slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The man, Faheem Nazir, submitted a complaint at the Connaught Place police station, following which police are conducting his medical examination and taking legal action, according to the information available.Nazir claimed in his complaint that he had reached the Connaught Place area where Congress leaders and Opposition MPs had gathered for lunch on Thursday. The claims have not been independently verified. Police are examining the complaint and are expected to register an FIR after completing the preliminary proceedings.
