The first group will be available for the fixtures against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on September 24 and at home to Greece three days later in Augsburg. Havertz, 27, has been chosen as part of the first group and should return to North London following Germany’s home fixture against Greece. Arteta has heavily relied on Havertz to lead the line for Arsenal this season, with the former Chelsea ace starting every Premier League game so far. He has notched goals against Chelsea and Coventry already and his reduced involvement during the international break should allow him an extended break ahead of Arsenal’s first game back against Leeds. Klopp, who took the Germany job in the summer following Julian Nagelsmann‘s resignation, has named 44 different players in his squads as a result of his new techniques. And the mammoth group means there is space for a first senior call-up for 16 players.
