Joe’s latest move in Emmerdale devastates three very innocent people

He believed he was doing the right thing (Picture: ITV) Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) took action in today’s episode of Emmerdale amid his plan to remove reminders of Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) from his life. Dawn died a couple of days ago after sustaining injuries in a crash caused by Jimmy King (Nick Miles). While Dawn initially survived the collision, she lost her life in hospital a few hours later. She left behind children Lucas, Clemmie, Evan, and Joe’s tiny new-born son. Lucas, Clemmie and Evan have been staying with Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) at Marlon Dingle’s (Mark Charnock) house since Dawn’s death. In tonight’s episode, Billy realised he had a problem on his hands when Lucas made it clear that he wanted to see Joe. Even though Billy hates every single thing about Joe, he can put his hatred to one side for the sake of his children. He knows that Joe put effort into creating relationships with them, and reluctantly headed up to Home Farm so they could visit. In the kitchen, he told Clemmie and Lucas that they are now Billy’s ‘problem’, and then forced them to leave. Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) knew that Joe didn’t mean what he was saying, but he seemed absolutely convinced that erasing Clemmie, Lucas and Evan from his life was the right thing to do. The problem is, someone else exists in Joe’s world that makes him think about Dawn. A tiny baby is laying in the NICU ward right now with just Joe as a parent. He cannot bring himself to connect with the tot because he thinks that the baby is the reason Dawn isn’t here anymore.
