Jaguars rule out LS Ross Matiscik, CB Montaric Brown

The Jaguars won’t have to scramble for a long snapper this weekend. They ruled Ross Matiscik out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. Matiscik was injured early in last Sunday’s win over the Eagles and the team had to turn to defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton for the rest of the game. Jacob Bobenmoyer joined the Jags in London early this week and will be added to the roster in order to handle the snapping duties. Cornerback Montaric Brown has also been ruled out. Brown returned from missing Week 4 last weekend, but was forced out with a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice this week. They could be without cornerback Jaylon Jones as well. He is considered questionable to play due to a hamstring injury.
