Two Palestinians have died from injuries sustained in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of Palestinians killed over the past 24 hours to seven, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. Six-year-old Daoud Muqata was killed after being shot north of Gaza City several weeks ago, while Subhi al-Batrikhi succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli air attack on a group of civilians in the city’s Remal neighbourhood on Sunday. Massive explosions were heard across Gaza around dawn after Israeli air strikes hit residential buildings in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighbourhood, according to local media. Israeli jets also struck several locations overnight, including homes belonging to the al-Batsh and Habib families and the Hayfa Hospital building behind the al-Sakhra commercial complex.
