Israeli president calls Qusra settler attack 'stain on Israel's face'

Israeli President Isaac Herzog joined prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in condemning settler violence in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra, saying it was unlawful. He said the attack was “a stain on Israel’s face” that demanded “firm and decisive action” against those responsible. Netanyahu also “strongly condemned the criminal acts of violence committed in the villages of Qusra and Jalud by a handful of rioters”. He said the “rioters” were “violating the law, causing a grave injustice to the law-abiding Jewish community, interfering with the IDF in carrying out its missions, and harming Israel's standing in the world".
