Is Val Chmerkovskiy Still Going on the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Tour Amid His Suspension?

Val Chmerkovskiy is coming off a week-long suspension from Dancing with the Stars for an inappropriate “Oscars Slap” joke he made toward Carrie Ann Inaba, and if you’re wondering whether the drama will impact the upcoming Dancing With the Stars live tour…nope!A source confirms to The Sun that Val is very much still on the Dancing With the Stars tour roster for 2027, and is expected to be joining the rest of the cast in January once the show hits the road.“He will absolutely be part of the DWTS tour given the rest of the season goes smoothly,” a source says. “He isn’t going anywhere and will not be pulled over his Carrie Ann comment. A lot of the promo and photography for the tour is centered around Val and Jenna [Johnson]. They are the faces of the tour and a big draw for fans, so producers will put them front and center.”Other pros heading on the 60-stop tour across North America? That’d be Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Sharna Burgess, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Adele Zaikman, and Britt Stewart—as well as troupe performers Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson, Jaxon Willard, and Carter Williams. The tour is being choreographed by Emmy Award–winning choreographer Mandy Moore (who choreographed the Eras Tour), and will make stops across the country. Full list of tour stops this way!
