Iron Maiden Kick Off 2026 North American Tour with 17-Song Set of Classics: Videos + Setlist

Iron Maiden kicked off their North American “Run for You Lives” tour with two shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Saturday and Sunday. Although the tour was advertised to cull from the band’s first nine albums, the band represented all but one of them, with no songs played from No Prayer for the Dying. Of the eight other albums, Powerslave was most represented with four songs, along with three tunes each from Killers and The Number of the Beast. Get Iron Maiden Tickets Here The 17-song set, which was identical both nights in Toronto, practically served as a greatest-hits performance, featuring such favorites as “Phantom of the Opera,” “2 Minutes to Midnight,” “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” “Run to the Hills,” “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “Fear of the Dark,” and the set-closer “Waster Years.” Being in Canada, at one point singer Bruce Dickinson poked fun at Donald Trump’s recent order to rename Lake Ontario as “Lake America,” saying, “We got here, we crossed Lake Ontario, we will be crossing the Gulf of Mexico. It is a ridiculous state of the world.” Megadeth, who are in the midst of a farewell tour, proved support at both Toronto shows, playing a nine-song set each night with some slight variance from Saturday to Sunday. The Dave Mustaine-led band will be on board for the remainder of the tour, with Anthrax jumping on select dates, as well.
