Iran used Chinese satellite images for attack on US base in Jordan

Iran used Chinese satellite images to carry out its attack on an American base in Jordan that killed three US troops in July, Wall Street Journal reported. Citing US officials familiar with details of the incident, newspaper reported that Tehran had acquired high-resolution satellite images of Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, which suffered extensive damage in the strike. The newspaper reported that US officials declined to identify the Chinese entities that supplied the imagery to Iran and did not allege direct involvement by Beijing.
