Iran adds 11 more ships to Hormuz blacklist

Live Blog Update| War on Iran 2 September 2026 19:05 BST Iran’s Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) has added a further 11 ships to its blacklist on Wednesday, barring the vessels from transiting through the Strait of Hormuz for “non-compliance” with its rules. The move comes a week after Tehran blacklisted ⁠45 tankers from the Strait of Hormuz, warning that any vessel cooperating with a banned ship would also be added to the list. PGSA, a body set up by Iran to manage the strait, now prohibits 56 vessels from transiting the critical waterway.
